The only female Uganda presidential candidate and ‘loser’ Maureen Kyalya has asked President Museveni for employment.
In an interview with XFM radio, Kyalya stated that she would appreciate working in Museveni’s government since she has “nothing to do in the next five years.”
On the other hand, she says, even though the elections were not free and fair, the outcome wouldn’t change and called upon all Ugandans to rally behind President Museveni in building a harmonized society.
“I don’t believe in serving Uganda only as president. I am not going to sit in my house for five years and wait for the next chance to run for presidency,” she is quoted as saying.
“I won’t wait for the President to call me. I’ll call him and say ‘please mzee .....can you post me somewhere?" This time I want to enjoy my money because every penny I’ve been getting has been for serving the people of Busoga so this time it’s about enjoyment,” Kyalya said.
