Controversial singer Alex Bagonza a.k. A Pass is currently the most controversial artiste in Uganda. He spends more time on social media attacking other artistes than creating good music in the studios. He claims to be the top artiste in the Uganda music industry.
The ‘Gamululu’ star has now picked on the first rising star, Latinum.
During the ‘Beat show’ on NTV hosted by Douglas Lwanga, A pass was asked to comment on the position of the young singer in the music industry.
He said, “He is a young man who is trying to discover himself but I have given him the chance until the end of this year before I can sweep him off my house”.
During the same interview, A Pass informed viewers that many dancehall artistes have limited time before they can actually exit his house.” I am not shooting videos anymore until next Year. I want these artistes to make some money as well,” he bragged.
Born and raised in Mbarara, Latinum broke to fame last year during his senior six vacations with a mega hit ‘Amanya Gange’. The song received massive airplay and he has managed to penetrate Kampala competition.
The 19-year-old recently scooped a deal with a music label, Gifted Music Group (GMG) based in Ntinda. He immediately relocated to Kampala to start a new life and advance his career.
