It was reported that there's bad blood between two recording companies, Swangz Avenue and Fenon Records.
Before Julius Kyazze and Benon Mugumbya formed Swangz Avenue, they spent many years under the mentorship of Steve Jean, who is credited for pioneering the pop sound in the 1990s and mentoring many musicians and producers.
Their beef is said to have escalated when Steve Jean reportedly refused to record Winnie Nwagi’s performance for Independence Day online show titled Peace and Love.
It's said that Steven Jean blames Swangz Avenue of landing big deals at the expense of Fenon.
But we have exclusively learnt that they are back on good terms just like they had been years ago.
Swangz Avenue’s Winnie Nwagi and Azawi are expected to perform at Club Beats, a show organised and produced by Steve Jean.
