Musician Eddy Kenzo has expressed fear over his safety saying that he is receiving threats against his life.
Kenzo made this known during a press conference on Monday at Protea Hotel.
“The things you see online don’t stop there. There are a lot of people being paid to kill me,” Kenzo said.
“Let me say these things when I’m still alive,” he added
He didn’t state any further details but suggested that the threats could be because of his recent association with the people in power.
Kenzo’s festival was attended by Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja.
“I have never declared the political party I support. You can’t tell me that I don’t support somebody because of their color,” he said.
It should be noted that the National Unity Party (NUP) supporters have been threatening him online.
