The persistent rumors of an undercover romantic relationship between singer Winnie Nwagi and Chozen Blood have continued since the release of their song "Yitawo."

In March 2023, Chozen Blood hinted that there was more to their connection than met the eye. He disclosed that he had received threats from an unidentified individual who claimed to be dating Winnie Nwagi.

The mysterious man warned Chozen to sever his ties with Nwagi or face dire consequences, suggesting that he had invested significantly in her.

Recounting the incident, Chozen Blood detailed that Nwagi's alleged boyfriend insisted on a face-to-face meeting to address the situation. The implication was that if Chozen didn't comply, the matter might be resolved through other means.

However, the narrative has taken a turn. Chozen Blood is now issuing an apology. The singer recently revealed that he and Nwagi had fallen out due to personal reasons and wanted to publicly express remorse for his actions.

In an interview with Bukedde TV1 on August 8th, 2023, Chozen Blood acknowledged that his mistake warranted a public apology.

"I deeply regret my actions as they might have caused her pain in some way. Although she is displeased with me, I take this opportunity to extend my apology on air," he conveyed.

Despite their close interactions, both in private and public settings, Chozen Blood stopped short of confirming or denying the rumors about a romantic involvement between him and the singer.

He simply stated that he and Nwagi were "just friends" and that he respected her privacy.
