Eddy Kenzo is arguably the biggest Ugandan musician at the moment, having lived a life of stardom for almost fifteen years.
Despite remaining a humble person in front of the media and public, he acknowledges that fame and ego are detrimental to the careers of Ugandan musicians.
"Music is the hardest constituency to manage because everyone is big and famous. People have ego, fame, money, and power, which makes many of them unruly, eventually leading to the death of their careers," he partly said in an interview with a local television.
Eddy Kenzo was speaking about the challenges he is facing from musicians as their leader, claiming that even with the formation of the Disciplinary Committee, musicians under the federation remain unruly.
