Female rapper Recho Rey had been away from the music scene until late last year when she started working with TNS boss Jeff Kiiwa.
The singer has since opened up about depression, which resulted from breaking up with her lover and losing her management at the same time.
Recho says she went through hell and struggled with illusions of life, something which affected her deeply because she never wanted to share it with anyone else.
"I was in a relationship with someone; it lasted for a good amount of time but eventually collapsed. It was the same time I lost my management. It was a very terrible time for me, and I went through depression," she partly said.
The singer revealed she shared her depression story to empower all people going through struggles in life.
"I had no one to share all this with; they were not aware of the relationship. I had no manager to talk to. I tried to get new management, but I failed. So, speaking out is to tell everyone that you can go through hardships and still bounce back," she added.
Recho Rey is currently one of the most trending musicians. She has been releasing endless music since January this year.
