Musician and actress Hellen Lukoma is famously known not only for her music and acting career but also for her bold fashion choices, often wearing skimpy outfits.
Lukoma has revealed that she will continue dressing this way because it's a requirement of her profession. She explained that she can't perform in long dresses since her music genre demands dancing on stage.
"I won’t wear a gomesi on stage as if I’m attending a funeral. Skimpy outfits are part of my business. The music I make requires me to dress that way, and I will continue doing so as long as I am in the industry," she said in an interview with Sanyuka Television.
Lukoma also disclosed that she did not attend Sheebah's concert because she was never invited.
