Since Eddy Kenzo was appointed a presidential advisor in August this year, different people have shared their opinions.

The latest is Phina Masanyalaze, who congratulated Kenzo on the appointment and said he should work for the benefit of all creatives, not just the federation members.

Masanyalaze explained that as a presidential advisor, Kenzo should listen to all artists, as their opinions and knowledge matter for the improvement of the creative sector.

"He should be a leader, a presidential advisor on the creative sector, not just the federation. That means he has to listen to everyone. It’s a sector full of knowledge, and he can present that to the President," she said in an interview with a local television station.

Phina Masanyalaze added that Kenzo must acknowledge that he holds a public office, not a private entity, and that his work will benefit the creative industry.
