Legendary musician Jose Chameleone is reportedly receiving medical attention and treatment in the United States of America.

His travel to the U.S. last year was sponsored by socialite Juliet Zawedde, with part of the funding coming from President Museveni.

Reports have surfaced indicating that the Leone Island boss is in need of UGX 750 million and has written to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni seeking assistance.

According to a local newspaper, Chameleone is recovering steadily, but the medical treatment is expensive, and he is struggling to personally cover other associated costs.

It should be noted that Jose Chameleone is battling acute pancreatitis, a disease linked to excessive alcohol consumption, as revealed by his elder son, Abba Marcus Mayanja.

Chameleone traveled to the United States in December last year after spending weeks at Nakasero Hospital.
