Singer Pallaso (Pius Mayanja) has responded to Fik Gaza's insults after a clash between their entourages. Pallaso stated the clash happened as he was heading to a Makindye press conference with a KCCA permit for a procession. He alleges Fik Gaza's group tried to disrupt his event. Pallaso, in the last car, said a fight broke out between their supporters before he could intervene.
Pallaso expressed surprise at Fik Gaza's insults, recalling their past friendship and his help: "I pulled Fik Gaza out of the gutters where he was doing drugs and involved in crime."
Pallaso issued a stern warning: “Don’t play with Pallaso because I grew up from the ghetto and finally went to America. Look for me at your own risk; I do not run to the police but I come for you live and direct.” He also mentioned his confusion and suspicion of substance abuse: “I thought he was my friend and I do not know where the problem came from. I think he is on drugs but when I meet him, we will talk it out."
Pallaso detailed his past support: “I rehabilitated Fik Gaza after his 4-year-prison sentence in Luzira and cleaned him up. I helped him give up drugs and crime... I paid for his video and even featured, giving him his breakthrough. I can’t judge him right now because he is currently confused,”
Fik Gaza accused Pallaso of using "ghetto boys" for fights without pay and declared "battle lines had been drawn," seeking a face-to-face confrontation. He claimed to oppose Pallaso's "chaos" against Alien Skin's camp, saying he would "put Pallaso in line."
