Musician, songwriter, and producer Zulitums believes he is not currently in competition with any Ugandan artist.
The singer explained that he is focused on his music because he already has fame, a strong following, and impressive online numbers. He has nothing to worry about.
"I am expressing myself through my art, not competing with others. With fame, a strong following, and impressive numbers, what more could I possibly be chasing?" he explained in an interview with a local television station.
Zulitums also says he doesn't have to promote his music because it resonates with others. He believes good work always gains traction because it will generate buzz from different people.
"An artist with a true calling will never seek to promote themselves; instead, their work resonates with others, who, in turn, create a buzz around them. These artists are intentional, refusing to follow trends and instead, forge their own unique path," he explained.
The singer maintains that he will continue making music at his own pace and will not be pressured into creating it.
