Musician Kalifah Aganaga has revealed that he will continue with his music career despite his active involvement in politics.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kalifah explained that music has built him and he cannot abandon it just because of politics. He will keep releasing new songs.

He says music has earned him love and support from people across the world. He has managed to travel to different countries because of his music career.

"I will keep doing music despite joining politics. Music made me, and I cannot abandon it just because of politics. I am known everywhere because of music and have travelled the country and the world," he explained.

Kalifah Aganaga was nominated by the electoral commission on Wednesday this week for the upcoming Kawempe North MP by-elections, which are set to take place on March 13th this year.
