Musician Mansur Semanda, also known as King Saha, performed in Ibanda town over the weekend at Kanuzire Lounge, located in Western Uganda.

The event was proceeding smoothly until Saha performed the "Ekimala" song, which did not sit well with some members of the audience, particularly in a region where the NRM enjoys strong support.

It is reported that he was warned by the venue owner not to perform music that criticizes the government, as the owner personally enjoys a strong relationship with the NRM.

However, King Saha did not listen and went ahead, adding personal touches to the song, causing a ruckus and commotion as his team engaged in a physical altercation with audience members who felt insulted by his lyrics.

It is now reported that he is wanted by police on allegations of inciting violence and spreading hate speech.

Other reports indicate that the venue owner is also demanding compensation from King Saha for the damaged property.

The singer has since remained silent, and through his social media, he maintains that the Ibanda show was a success.
