When Kenyans were voted the ugliest looking people in Africa, we felt sorry for our neighbor brothers and sisters. However, of late, Kenyan media has worked so hard to make sure they get beautiful women to reveal tips to Kenyan women on how they can cope up with Ugandan beautiful ladies. And they are surely doing a great job!

Recently, Citizen Digital hired our beautiful Juliana to feature on their blog and reveal tips of how she manages to keep up her beauty even when she is 30years and plus! In the interview dubbed “Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyomozi reveals secret behind her beauty”, Juliana revealed “the secret behind her well-toned and voluptuous body”.

“I do not strictly follow a particular diet to put my weight on course; I eat a lot of healthy foods, drink a lot of water – whoever said water is life, I agree.” She said.

Asked if she’s ever gone against her ‘only-healthy foods’ rule, she said: “Not at all; I do not eat fries quite often. Deep fried foods and junk may deter you from achieving that healthy look and life you intend to live.”

Juliana also revealed hitting the gym is yet another method she employs in keeping her weight in check.

“I also work out a lot. It is not only good for my health, but also as an artist I have to keep fit. Unfortunately I have been quite lazy the last month or two.”

Juliana, however, was quick to point out that she prefers if people remember her for her achievements, and not looks.

“I don’t pay much attention to beauty; I do put my head into what I do musically.”

“Many people often think I am beautiful, I am flirty; but it is not something I would want people to use to measure my success. I would love people to judge me purely on my work.”

The Kalibatanya  singer was not hesitant to talk about the art of female celebrities flashing a lot of skin to remain relevant:

“If you are an artist I think it is important to give all your attention to the craft; rather than expose how you look – beauty fades over years; how will you then sell your art when you are 45 and you no longer have the curves to show, or when you get six kids?”

“If I were anyone I would concentrate on getting better at whatever it is that I do: sell my music first and then beauty would complement my work.”

Meanwhile, Juliana is Nairobi at Coke studios, where she has been paired up with Nigeria’s Flavour in this year’s Coke Studio season 3
