Uganda 1-0 Burundi
Uganda needed a second half goal to sink Burundi and help Harambee Stars back into Cecafa tournament.
Frank Kalanda scored the all important goal in 70th minute to silence Burundi in Ethiopia. Burundi started the match as Group 'B' leaders needing a draw to advance to the next round with Uganda Cranes finishing second.
However, after the final whistle, Bobby Williamson charges have four points with a goal difference of zero, same as Burundi, however, they have scored more goals as compared to their opponents. Uganda win the Group with six points after two wins and one defeat.
Kenya, who lost to Zanzibar on Friday, have a better goal aggregate. Meanwhile, a section of Harambee Stars players' went on a drinking spree hours after the embarrassing 3-1 defeat at the hands of Zanzibar on Friday.
Nairobi News reports that three members (name withheld) of the team and a junior member of the backroom staff decided to shake off the loss with rounds of drinks at an entertainment joint just 20 metres from Tadesse Enjory Hotel where the team is booked.
Despite a heavy presence of members of the media at the joint, the players and the official in question seemed unfazed and went about their business of ordering drink after drink till the wee hours of Saturday morning.
