Abdul Swagga started music as any normal church goer he developed his talent, he later went to studio in 2017 and he managed to record a song called Pamela , later on returned to studio after a few months he met a friend called Baddest Item promoter who encouraged him to sing more proffesionally ... Abdul Swagga formed a strong musical relationship with baddest Item promoter who was then known as Nyombi P and the two did a couple of songs together. EMMYSHENZ began taking him to various studios around and introducing him to different influential people in the music industry. Abdul Swagga is currently working together with Emmypromotions and Baddest Item Promotionz 

Abdul Swagga has worked with a number of producers in the Reggea and dancehall songs like MBALAGAKO, PAMELA, SOMEBODY ETC. Abdul Swagga states he gets inspiration from music including dancehall, reggea from artists like the Late Lucky Dube
