Parliament of Uganda has passed the National Coffee (Amendment) Bill, 2024 integrating the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) into the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF). 

The Sexual Offences Bill, 2024 that seeks to enhance punishment of sex offenders and protection of victims during trial has been re-introduced in Parliament. 

Consideration of the Uganda National Kiswahili Council Bill, 2023 stalled for a second time during a plenary sitting held on Monday, 14 October 2024.

Parliament has rejected the Alcohol Control Bill, 2023 that sought to regulate the purchase, sell and consumption of alcohol.
