He first emerged on the music scene in the year 2011 as part of the group Red Tawu Entertainment “R.T.E” when he relocated to the UK with his sister to reunite with his mom after a long time without seeing each other and for studies in 2008.  While he was studying, he then recorded his first single “TWEYAGALA” in the same year 2011 which went a little bit viral in the UK. Since then, DID has gone from strength, working his way up the entertainment ladder in some places in the UK to become the most recognizable Luga Flow Hip-hop artist in the music industries/country Uganda, and receiving recognition comments from the people.

 

As a rap act, D.I.D is looking forward to its reputation spreading throughout East Africa and in some countries. Quality has been a huge part of D.I.D Kava's progression as an artist and he has always needed it to gain the appeal that is now giving him more of the confidential Luga flow hip-hop artist in East Africa according to his dreams. D.I.D Kava's highly rated songs titled “Tweyagala, Ekibuuzo, Party Time (Ku Party), Time Na Money, Namwandu, Sisela, Yesu Webale, What's Today, AK47 Wumula Bulungi (Tribute song) and many more’. DID Kava was first encouraged towards music by the african Hip Hop influencer like Saba Saba, Babaluku, Sarkodi, Juacali, Mejja, Prezzo, Jaguar, DNA, Fresh P and Milestone. He also listened to Papoose, Jadakiss, Style P, Eve, Miss Elliot, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, and many more. So far, he only worked with Producers like Nafia, Platinum, Earron and Producer H for success.
