Dembe viola Norah aka DembeNoris born and raised in bakuli ghetto to mr. and Mrs. Dembe Baker in 1996. Went to rubaga road children's centre for nursery section, saph integrated school nakulabye kiyaye, namirembe model school and kawuku parents school for primary education. Later joined caltec academy makerere and Devine high school mpererwe for o'level studies. As a kid through out the studies was very intelligent tho things weren't so good at S4 passing through a third grade.Though throughout all the studies was disturbed by ASTHMA. Dropped out of school because dad an accountant and government official wasn't earning well any more and my kid brothers needed to push further in studies.Tried to learn decoration and hair dressing but never completed all due to my jumpy life then. Being the third born out of father's five children and mother's six children life became a mess. Back home mama and papa had separated because papa's drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes was much and they couldn't stop fighting every night. This was so hurting that all my life I never wished of ever getting married. Dad decided to rent his own room deep in the bakuli ghetto where I and my little brothers decided to move in with him and here life was terrible. Some times the house would leak ,other days nothing to eat which forced me to join the entertainment industry. I featured in various videos, danced for various artists on stage ,like it wasn't enough also at some time did karaoke shows just to survive and also give my little brothers the little I had because my elder sisters also weren't well. While in the industry started to drink, smoke, just to pull it off on stage and this became a routine even in leisure time. No show days were days I had to go to the neighborhood ghetto ,steal bundles of weed from my buddy and sell It just to earn a living tho escaped alot of police search. This always made my mum cry for she always heard news that her daughter had turned into a slut, thug and wasted. Mum would call me counselling me but I still never minded. I was so disrespectful to people and was good at abusing, clubbed all night and always fought. 2016 went to stay with mum for some little time. My mother who wasn't so much into praying would spend sleepless nights praying for her children  that very year towards the end i went out and messes up with only my sister's knowledge a secret to the rest, i decided to get rid of it in much pain with alot of bleeding in fear of death asked God for one more chance to turn away from the messed life, the very night as i  was lying in my bed a voice whispered "go out to the nations" woke up scared and told my sister what's the meaning of this first of all am a big sinner and what will I do for the nations yet I didn't go far in books. That's when i started watching channel 44  and got saved towards the end of the very year ,joined mafuta choir at miracle centre cathedral, prayer clinic which strengthen me spiritually hence started writing and singing for God. With alot of challenges God placed there people who have stood by me. Singer ZABULI who contributed alot to don't shy away song and still strengthens me at all times, mafuta choir which is like my own family, and ofcorse my own Dembe blood family. Determined to serve my God, want to reach out to all ghetto born and every one in this world whose struggling with what my God overcame through my music. Glory to God my everything,  victory belongs to him.
