Emma dawn born Opolot Emmanuel on 24th Feb,1989  to Mr. Oriokot James and Mrs Judith Oriokot from Amuria District  Uganda. 
Is a hiphop artist and song writer.
Emma dawn is the only son in a family of seven. He grew up in the village where in his early life HIP-HOP was news. However with his cousin Jacob they sung all sorts of songs transforming words of popular songs on radio to the local language.
His exposure to HIP-HOP came in 2003 when he joined Teso College Aloet.
In 2004, he was inspired to write his own songs by Sean Paul's "I'm still in love with you" jam which was released in 2002. The reggae thing did not work for him but he continuously listened to all kinds of Music, wrote lyrics of songs from groups like West life, back street boys,  blue and others that he could get access to .
By 2005 he  listened to rap music a lot and it was now clear hip hop was his afavorite genre of music.
In 2006 he wrote his first song Ya know and has never looked back. He currently has two album's written and only waiting production.
To date he has released 3 singles from his Error street album and Ya know the only song released from his A.A.V.S.I album.
He has performed at various small gigs and the biggest being Navios show on 23rd .08. 2014 at Kati Kati.
