Henry Tony ‘Tigan’ Kirumaganyi is a reggae musician from Uganda. He picked Tigan from Tony and his last name. He plays the xylophone and his music can be classified under reggae, ragga and dancehall. He writes about a lot of social issues too.
He is a student of Adult and Community Psychology student at Kyambogo University. He started singing in at Africana Whiteland College (now Seroma Christian High School) and he was influenced by artistes like the late Philly Bongole Lutaaya, Kevin Lyttle and Mr.Vegas. Vegas was his first stage name.
His manager, Suudi Lukwago, based in Boston, United States, has helped him a lot, and was instrumental in hooking up his collaboration with Marlon Asher on ‘My country’. He also featured Mighty Mystic on Pretty Gal. He is under the Suudi Entertainment label.
Some of his songs include Abogezi, Lwaki Oninza, Emilanga, Pretty Gal, The Girl Is Mine, Nsanyalala, etc
