Ivodrous real names Luyima Ivan is a dance hall reggae ragga artiste,song writer and missions director from Uganda. He is also a TV and Radio presenter on Dream TV and Impact FM respectively as well as events MC
Ivo comes from a humble family of six boys and he's the fourth born all raised up and educated by mostly their mother. He did almost all kind of jobs to raise funds for fees and basic needs.
He attended St Barbabus Primary School, Greenville Hill School and Kibo foundation insitutution. At the institution,he studied and got a certificate in IT ESSENTIALS. It is also noted that Ivodrous started his music career right from his high school where he used to dance to do break dance on micheal jackson's songs and also used to sing in high school church choir. After his high school in 2006 Ivodrous started working in a music library and repairing computers this is where he got exposed to more music and getting inspired to write and record music.
2008 ivodrous started writing a number of songs for other singers and also recorded some secular music also started performing the same songs in clubs and bars.2009 he started dancing in a dance group doing creative dances on all kinds of song including church songs of kirk franklin and papa san,this made him close to church where he picked interest of always coming to church.
2009 still ivo was much into church activities of music and dance and later silently accepted Jesus as his savior this was the beginning of gospel journey where he also recorded his first gospel song with other friends.He then wrote a number of gospel songs including Mukowoole,majanjalo,entalo,wamenikyoka,saba among others which hit on community levels and no concert or crusades and schools around could miss inviting him to present.
2010 was a big maturity level of ivodrous where he became a focussed minister of the gospel after being led by the Holy spirit to initiate a charity and evangelism ministry to reach out to the needy with the gospel of works currently Gospel Tour Ministry.
He further recorded more songs songs in the following years including #my everything,#weterekere till finally 2016 where he recorded the mos loved song till now Am a Believer,this song describes about the characteristic of a believer and love as a great pillar.Ivo has recorded more hitting songs and liked by both the elderly people and youths including #Tuli ku kitufu #Nikitazama #Neyanze with kisembo Richard #Teri kuzikiza #Shine Again ft Joanna.
Ivodrous has become children and youths favourite for the positive and mentoring words of wisdom he teaches in school gatherings and crusade,he has taught and preached to many and with many spiritual sons and daugters most of them call him 'papa' meaning daddy has also been so concerned in uniting artistes also creating more platforms and opportunities to see their gifts and talents grow into power ministers,he also started the Gospel Heartbeat a event that show cases most gifts in the gospel art and happens in Kampala city where artistes,presenters and all key players in the industry fellowship with their fans.Ivo still believes gospel industry should be number one and gospel music is the best music, he believes in raising more talents.
Ivodrous has ministered and performed on different platforms also been MC on different events,he's very easy to work with he believes in good work and positivity.
