Kennie jei/ kenny jay is a recording artist who has done a couple of songs in Uganda in both English and Luganda. He sings from a Ugandan music group called NU SKUL. Kennie jei started his music career in 2008 when he had joined his secondary education at Uganda Martyrs High school and that’s when he produced his first song called GWE WANGE. He has done a couple of projects with various artists like GNL, Silver kyagulanyi, jamal and many more. He featured in the we are the World song Luganda/ Ugandan version with many other rising stars in Uganda which it was intended to raise funds for the people who had been affected by land slide in Buduuda in 2010. Kennie jei has produced a lot of songs as his singles which include OKWAGALA where he was talking about failed love, MY LOVE FOR YOU, which is a love song a combination of slow and urban beats where he featured Bravo, BABY I LOVE YOU which he featured JC and RUUD KATS, TUKYEEKOLA, SHAMPAGNE DIVE which are all club bangers and many more other songs. Kennie jei together with his group the NU SKUL have done songs like WHISPER, PARTY, DO IT and lots more from there album called “whispers in the dark”. They have had quite a number of performances and performed on different stages with various artists.
