Kloud Dipo Started 29 years ago at Margret ward Mengo Hospital. The seeds of
creativity start to blossom in a 9 year old Mugabi Jamil when he writes his first full piece
of fiction inspired by the Sunday paper pull out.
Fast forward to 2006 now a poet writing for senior students to 2009 scribbling lyrics for
himself and for underground artists from school. His next writing stint comes on NTV's
DECEPTION where he wrote the last episode after an 8 season run.

Come 2019 with his mother's blessing Kloud Dipo the artist is born when he features on
a remix of Ugandan classic ENO mic drop with a verse that stays memorable in
listener’s heads till date.
Inspired by the glass breaking konga bouncing flute garnished beats Kloud Dipo off a
life of poetry scribbling launches into a variety of styles in what he de­ scribes as
Surrealist shit talking in the suggestion Box.
He goes on to feature on two more songs before branching independent with a label he
co-owns with his cousin and legendary producer Shoodi Beats whose music provided
a great writing platform and challenge for his artistry to show.

Kloud Dipo through Backhouse records has since dropped one single MAYOR (FT
Ugandan Ace That Malcom Guy and Ostara and Roki) and a double format called Duba
Twist with two songs; MPEEKA and KAWELA FT that Malcom Guy and Roki. He
continues on his quest for a new sound on the scene and making people laugh and
think through his words.
