Lion G was born on 7/11/1996 to mr Kigundu Elizafan and ms Nakungu Harriet of Bbaale sub county Kayunga District. Lion G was born as Kigundu Geofrey,he is the 2nd child in the family of three members

Like any other talented young artist Lion G started to develop his talent at the age of 15 when he was still in an ordinary level class senior four (S.4) at Baale Secondary School where he started by miming and acting stage plays of drama occasionally which were held at school in every second term of every year as Inter-house MDD competitions. This gave him aplatform and on many entertaining parties held at school Lion G made it to be his chance of practicing  singing and by this time he used to write down his own songs which he used to sing along on other mentals from other artists and could flow on them flawlessly thus contributing to his confidence in the music talent he had.

Being the fact that he was raised from a poor family,they lucked money to fund for his school fees to continue at Advanced level for further studies. After understanding that he had atalent he could depend on,Lion G left Kayunga and joined Kampala to looking for a desirable place to help him promote his music talent.

By this time he had written down many songs despite the fact that he lucked money to fund the production and promotion for the fact that he faced many challenges ans barriers in this musical journey. After completing one year in Kampala, Lion G got money and went to Hinterland Records of Ronnie Da Don and he recorded his very audio that he titled Nyinyonyola that he wrote inspired on a true story concerning a girl he love but the girl lucked true love for him more is told/sung in the song Nyinyonyola.

Being inspired by many successful artists who also struggled for a breakthrough this gave him hope that yes one day I'll be like or better than all,for this determination he wrote another song in 2019 that he titled Ensonga again recorded at Hinterland Records of Ronnie Da Don for the fact that the first song didn't work it out for him following the limited money for promotion.

For this time he had consulted many people on how to deal with music and he had acquired many friends in the music industry this included the radio presenters,promoters,djz and Tv presenters that helped him hand in hand.

Lion G is now set to release more and more songs to dominate the Ugandan music industry.
