I'm Mayega Frank and my stage name is Lotfil.  Lotfil follows some precedents whereby I find myself having a variety of talents. I was good at football and at one time my friends would say that Diego Maradona had reincarnated in me. Others alway said that I was Messi's replica due to the extraterrestrial skills I possess in football coz I would nutmeg and elastico everyone and I was also good at giving trivela passes and also good at doing stepovers. So I also come to realize I'd an exquisite musical talent, I was always the best at javelin yet at the same time was always the best in class. So I'd alot filled in me hence ending up joining alot with filled and coming up with Lotfil.

I started my musical journey way back in primary when I wrote a song about the massacres that were prevalent in Northern Uganda at that time. It was all about pleading for God's intervention about what was happening there. The song was loved by my classmates I always used to give a kapera. So I started writing songs in high school.  Thanks to my bro Sebulime Roger's Martin who fought to improve my vocals at Buddo Sss in the catholic choir.

After getting my bachelor's degree in the field of Accounting and Finance at Kyambogo, I straight away started pursuing a profession course (CPA, Certified Professional Accounting) as I was doing music solely alongside it.  Currently I'm a CPA student as well as a tutor.

I decided to start doing music at a large scale coz it always haunted me. I'm that person who may be somewhere, doing something and lyrics swam in my head,.at that moment I take up a paper and a pen and jot down the song. Music is a therapy,..it's a demon that won't let me alone.

I always admired Radio and when u look closely, the way we string the words is more less the same. I'm signed under C&A Music. I have a song which is yet to be released  called 'Tuvuga Kampala'.

Tuvuga Kampala intricately and quickly flows about how Ugandans live their lives. These are people who cry about being financially crippling during day and later in the night they flood in the bars. It also talks about how a guy can never date any Ugandan gal without injecting in,...so it encourages dudes to first work hard before dating.

My future prospects,  I'd want to help people.  Our prime purpose in this world is to help others.  I would want to elevate others to greater heights.
