Lyrical G (real names Jeff Kintu),is an award-winning rap artiste and record producer from Uganda, East Africa.
He is also noted among the first commercially successful solo rap artistes,having started rapping at a young age.

He has released albums such as Live From East Africa(2004),Narudi(2006),1st & Flow Most(2007),
Tha GMC Project(2009),and Simple & Plain(2010). '1st & Flow Most II:Back 2 Basics',was released in January 2012.His most recent cd is titled 'Grown Man Talk' and was released on 8th April 2013.

LG as he is popularly has also featured on compilations such as UG Hiphop Allstars(2005) and the Walter Reed Project collaboration album(2006).

Lyrical G is a winner of 4 Pearl of Africa Music(PAM) Awards including back to back Best Hiphop Artiste(2005 & 2006) PAM awards.
LG has performed alongside some of the biggest names in Ugandan music and most importantly opened for Atlanta hiphop queen Rasheeda,on her Uganda tour,Nigeria's P-Square,Senegal's Awadi,South Africa's Mafikizolo,Trinidad & Tobago's Typical Fefe and Proverb from South Africa.

LG has also recorded hit songs with Steve Jean, Klear Kut, Baboon Forest,Good Lyfe Crew,First Love, TID, Bataka Squad,Dorothy,Obsessions,Michael Ross, Vamposs, Babaluku .Ngoni and many more,not forgetting the Walter Reed Project collaboration song titled 'A Lil Bit Of Luv' alongside Mesarch Semakula, Juliana, Peter Miles, Kid Fox, Nandujja, Blu*3, Sophie Gombya,Sweet Kid and Mr Mosh.

He is also featured in many commercials including lending vocals to ads for Warid Telecom,MTN and UTL.

In 2004,Lyrical G featured alongside one of South Africa’s biggest hiphop artistes, Proverb in the South African SCAMTO
Groundbreakers’ documentary, a TV show meant to sensitise and promote positive living in young people so as to help them
achieve their goals and lead normal positve lives. The show was an instant hit all over South Africa and was also broadcast by various television networks all over Africa.

LG has performed in a number of countries eg UK, South Africa and Rwanda. The biggest highlight in his career however, was when he was invited to perform at the 2006 Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF), which attracts film makers and some of the biggest names in music & film in Africa and worldwide.
