Lyrikal Proof aka Ivan Kiyimba was born on December 24 1987 in Jinja. Lyrical proof has attended to schools like Nakasero Primary School, Busoga College Mwiri, and Kyambogo University.

In 2003,Lyrikal Proof stepped up his passion for rap and by then he used to perform at Sabrinas Pub on Bombo Rd where he engaged in different rap battles.
The 25yr old`s love for rap game came from the first ever Hip Hop/Rap CD he ever listened to, the `Blueprint` CD by Jay-Z.

He was also inspired by some legendary big names in the game like will Smith, B.I.G, 2pac, Bone Thugs, Ll Cool J and Eminem. `Can you hear me` was lyrical proof`s first ever track to record in a studio.

However in 2008, Lyrical Proof`s career kicked off massively and ever since that time he has never looked back. Songs like `Smile`, `The Message`,` Game Over Ft GNL`, `Took Me A While` Ft Harris And `Took Me A While Remix` ft Mckenzie rose Mr. OMG (Only Mad genius) to fame.

With over 100 songs under his belt, LP remains unstoppable`he can be heard in songs like Competition Is Dead, Clarity Anthem, 3 Kings ft( The MITH and Enygma), Love Song Ft Bonstylez, Kila Siku among others.

Currently, Lyrikal Proof is under the Music Record Label, Goodenuff Urban Records, with which he`s working on several Projects/CDs like `M.A.D.E IN UG`, `Hooks, Lines & Thinkers`, `Monnie & Pryde` & `Moment of Clarity`.
