Malijam AKA future boy is a Hip hop and Modern Dancehall musician born to a family of six, himself being the last born to Malinga Tajim and Apolot Jamilah on the 10th,january 2002.Raised in Bukedea in a family where Islam rules he picked passion in bongo music and Afro pop which he always sang with his mum with Diamond Platnumz being his role but something was missing with that music, so the young man could sing hip hop in a dancehall vibe and bongo in the hip hop vibe and his peers loved him for that creativity. This made the boy think of an idea of combining both vibes to make one, which he would call the ‘’The Malijam Future Music’’, when the boy clocked seven he joined Mbale Schools Band and later Bukedea Schools Band where he played the trumpet, drum kit and was appointed a commander because of his eye catching dances and creativity till when he finished his Primary level. He then joined Teso College Aloet where he started his journey with dancing videos which made him popular on social media not to forget his outstanding photo shoots and editing skills which lie in his hands, they could always show (predict) his bright future .He then branded himself ‘’future boy’’ in his O’ level vacation because of his beautiful social image and his impossible but true imaginations of what he can do. Many of his age mates preferred hating him for what he was and could always discourage him but this only trained him to never give up, so he always preferred being with the ones he loved, family built his love passion, and the elderly made his tough intelligence. However he had kept his zest accumulating for singing , having gotten enough training from miming, he started singing from his mind and slowly started writing short songs and then finally writing his own jams, when he joined his new school, Kiira College Butiki, where he met Vancy Tomson who was of his kind, By 2019 at form six, Mali’s magma was so hot that it was only waiting for a small crack to form above when an opportunity came and he was invited by Acek Laurance to do a ‘sosh’ song for his school with Vancy and Munro. The young men hustled it out and produced future hit ‘’Six19 Kimposh’’ at Rays Avenue Studio in Njeru, Jinja which was Mali’s step point. It was a party song for the form 6 leavers of 2019 which they launched with his mates at their ‘sosh’(prom) party with Mpoma Ladies at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi and it proved to be irresistible, wow the song was highly appreciated and no one could believe that Mali had done it one thing to note is that the he is full of surprises. Later the next term he realized another hit ‘’Wish’’  which showed extreme supremacy of the young man with his taste of hip hop and dancehall combined who could try hating his art, the song shows how  Mali was previously hurt, but then found this girl who had something different for, her love was special, indeed it was a wish, the song was the rocket engine launcher for his music, on the day of the launch of his first single at the assembly, the song was greatly enjoyed by the school when Mali brought in his impossible moves on stage, even his worst enemy had to smile, he then gave an inspirational speech after his performance where he even inspired teachers, all the young from then looked unto him for advice because he had the perfect understanding of life. This was when Mali discovered his greatest gift God had given him, Love and being loved and so always kept what he loves close no matter how much it hurts him sometimes. Mali’s first dream was to be a pilot but he always had fees problems because of his humble background but one thing to note is that Mali has seen life worse and his willing to fight for his future of being an artist, pilot, producer and director. Mali participated in the 6th edition of Rising Star talent competitions 2019 represented his school in the category of solo dance composition and singing in which he proved to be ‘a must be’,  he then was  awarded the most talented boy in Jinja because of his outstanding talent in both singing and dancing, indeed God was with him. Mali as a Godly and ‘down to earth’ boy is willing to go to the sun and raise Gods flag to show his love and appreciation to God for the gifts he has given unto him, and he is the guy who doesn’t think the sky is the limit, but God.
