Mark Brian kimera better known by his stage name Mark BK is a dancehall reggae gospel musician; 

he was raised by his mum MS Maria Muwonge and Mr. George William Kimera his father, in Lubowa, 

Bunamwaya in wakiso district.

 

Mark BK attended kawoko primary school, for his primary level and Masaka secondary school and 

City View secondary for his O and A Levels respectively. He identified his talent at quite a young age 

where he started singing and performing in different school presentations and at church. 

The love for Christ saw him serving God as a singer and instrumentalists  

At the same church at Yesu  Akwagala  Seguku he was  able to win two award  one for Afro Beat and song of the year .

 He cites Uganda reggae and dancehall star Bebe cool as his inspiration

 

The gospel senses ion  whose latest release Get ready  challenges the status quo in the church today is a married man married to 

his long time sweet heart  Naluyima Grace Kimera  with whom they are blessed with three children and are permanent residents of Kireka Bbira.

 He is also a businessman dealing in real estate. . he is signed under the effects media record label .
