Mimo is a multi-talented music Producer ,song writer and pianist.
Born in Entebbe 
As a child, Mimo (Real name: Simon Peter Ssempebwa) became co-Pianist of his family's popular Choir, His Grace Revival Choir by age 13 under the supervision of the Late Paul Talemwa.

At the age of 17, Mimo launched a solo career under M-Records making 
Songs like Pretty Pretty by King Saha & Mundeke  Munoonye by King Saha in 2010

In 2011, he released another single Sherrinah  by King Saha
An infectious blend of Afropop.

The song Amari by Sean Simple hit allover Central and Nothern Uganda in 2012. It was later Remixed featuring Good Lyf Weasel and the late Mozey Radio.

Vimba by Gravity Omutujju ft King Saha elevated him to the charts in 2013 under the support of Video Director, Frank Mugerwa AKA Jah Live.

And in  2014 Mimo fled from his comfort zone, Entebbe to Kampala and Joined Riddim Records where he Produced Onkuba by King Saha ft Sheeba in 2015

After a year, Mimo quit the Label.
He was later hired by Lukyamuzi  Bashir (CEO Badi World) In 2016 were he worked with Popular Producer, Nessim.

In 2017, another hit Byonkola  by Ykee Benda was released along with Ebiloots by the same artiste.

Mimo is steadily continuing with his Journey under a new Label, Wide Area Republic.
