MUGIZI SPRING (SPRING GZ) real name MUGIZI BRIAN is a gospel recording RAP/HIPHOP artist/musician Apostle and Poet. His journey to music started 20 years ago when he first recorded his first single with the help of the late LUMIX of Valley Carve Records in Ntinda in Kampala, by that time, He was 16 years old. By the time of his first recording, he wasn’t yet a serious born again Christian hence he was doing contemporary secular Music under the alias/ stage name NUT KRAKER and eventually SPRING GZ. For nine years, he recorded secular Music and His name stood out of the crowd and was popular in the underground hip hop music industry. When he decided to minister unto the Church, he changed from doing secular music to gospel music. Besides Valley Curve Records, he has been recording from a number of studios like The Grid Records in Nansana Kampala, Sinare Records, Slomotion Music, Amplified Records, Boltmar and other studios. The name SPRING is derived from the phrase “the springs of living waters” meant to quench the thirst of a believer in CHRIST with the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, and Gz is a short form for his name MUGIZI.
