Mutemba Ndegye, born Byaruhanga Gideon on 23 December 1979 in Uganda, is an Afro beat and other most music styles, Comedian, MC, Radio Presenter, Dramatist and an entrepreneur.
He is one of the most popular radio presenters in Uganda basically in western Uganda. Not only that he is also regarded as the best MC in the region currently and we have experienced on parties and other different functions.
He does his work in different languages i.e. Rukiga, English, Luganda and Kinyarwanda. Several of his songs have yielded popular catchphrases, including Sweet Wangye, Nkazekorera, Tuyambane and Webare Mukama.
Musical Career
Mutemba Ndegye began his career in early 2000 as Actor in Kamwezi primary school while in primary three while in school choir. He continued in secondary school doing the same.
After he joined Kigezi Kinimba Actors in 2005 the group that was based in Kabale by the time which some of people believe that it was of late Rutamirika but its true founder was Rukanga Abrahyam and his brother Elaisha Rukanga.
From their he went in African college of commerce in 2006 for diploma in Journalism while pertaining on a radio station Roots Fm (Omuzi Rwakarande) doing a morning show and a Saturday mix and that radio was founded by Bahati Kibahena. I think this is where he developed an interest in music.
After studying and because of talent he was able to get a job on Radio Kigezi (voice of kigezi) in 2007 one of the radios in the region up to today, while in program titled Obunyakare (Kankuganire) and also acting as kahungu a drama in morning show while many of fans known him as Bakaine.
Still in kigezi he was recording some songs but not for commercial purposes, he was just utilizing his talent.
Things became serious in music when he was called for interviews on Vision Radio 89.1 in 2007, He was given a job and started working officially in 2008 on Vision Breakfast show till now, and that made him to live in Mbarara town where he became serious in the Music dance and Drama industry up to now.
While working on Vision Radio he was able to be back for books at Mbarara Community institute majoring in Journalism course while targeting best skills from best lecturers who were even practicing their duty in media industry. Some lectures are Atekere Maringa and Baryahabwe Dickson who is currently on Radio west.

Mutemba Ndegye is a founder of Mutex Media solutions dealing in training media skills, Videography, emceeing, Mutemba Ndegye sounds, acting with Ankole actors on TV west, Production of audio and Video Adverts.
Family and Personal Life
Mutemba Ndegye’s marriage is kept as a secret we will wait for him to release it but for now we don’t know anything about his marriage.
So far he has his two daughters and his wife is Alaisha Nakahima a teacher and an actress.
Was born with eight children of his father, but he has his own mother and is the first born.
His father‘s name is Rwamafa Justus, Mother is Tumubwine Sifa Sydi who didn’t take care of him.
In Mutemba Ndegye’s words he never grew up with her and he never burry her a thing that hurts him even today.
Awards
He won a lot of awards when he was still in Schools, And on today’s a wards he don’t believe in them as it involves bribery. ‘They are not transparent at all in his words’
But in recognition he is one of the greatest multi talented people that Uganda has in 20th century.
