Phiona Zalwango professionally known by her stage name, Naya is a Ugandan afro beat singer born in 1991.

She started making music at a young age while still in primary school. Phiona perfomed in a number of music competitions in primary and secondary schools. 

She won multiple prizes including bursaries. She later joined the church where she has been singing and training her vocals ever since. 

She released her debut studio song 'Kyambe' on 10th June, 2019. The song was produced at badman records by producer Lego and Grey. 

Phiona revealed singers Juliana and Rema are her biggest inspirations.
