PONDIRANKING BIOGRAPHY

 

Pondirwoth ivan who is widely referred to as pondiranking is a son to Abedikani Jilbert of Mbaro Pagoro and Oyela Agnes of Nyaravur.

 

Pondiranking grew up in a family of three kids two boys and one girl and he is the first born of his mother.

 

Pondiranking completed his primary school at St.paul's primary school kyebando in 2012 and his ordinary level at City high school Kololo in 2016 and later joined St.mark high school for his advanced level from 2017 to 2018.

 

He started singing at atender age in churches and schools,while studying at St.mark high school he started manifesting his love for music and he became widely known within the school where he used to also write song for his fellow students and this helped him to perfect his writing and voicing skills.

 

In 2020 February he got an offer from darry hits in mpaka records where he realeased a cover of bomboclat featuring Ykee benda which was well recieved in westnile due to the mature lyrics in the song.

The song brought him to the lime light.

 

Currently Pondiranking is one of the alur (luo) artists with fantastic lyrics and classy music attitude.

He has released a few songs to his credit including temb atemba,yii kuda,kudi which are spreading like comprehensive fire across westnile.

 

According to him,he was inspired by the likes of tupac shakur,bob marley,chronixx,madoxx sematimba,patoranking,shabba ranks,wizkid,mowzey radio among others who he looked upto since childhood when he was growing up in the slums of kamwokya.
