Trevor kavuma (born September 19, 1999), known professionally by his stage name Rama Icon, is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, Actor, and a video director. He is noted by his dancehall and pop voice, and he is best at popular music.
Early life; Rama was raised by his parents with a very humble background in slum areas of Kawempe and Nansana-katooke. At age of 10years, his parents divorced and started living with a stepmother where life was hard for him, as a child, he liked singing mostly rapping. Loved michael jackson as he grew up and at age of 15, he started writing songs secretly since music wasn't cared for at home. In his free time, he used to listen to popular music of the late jackson, unfortunately he never had a chance to record not even any song in his childhood and in December, 2019 he decided to leave his father's house and ran away.
Music career ; He recorded his first single with Jethan Records dirty party and later did a collaboration with Cityboy Acid green card, uploaded on YouTube @rama Icon Music.
Education; Rama sat his Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), at Uganda martyrs' centenary,kayunga district 2017, and moved to Cambridge collage of st.Mbaaga-Gayaza for his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE), but didn't stand a chance to join university due to lack of tuition at home,that his parents couldn't afford.
