Robert Marshal, born 30TH June 1982 kyeyune Robert in Uganda, is aragga and reggae musician. His other stage names include Robert silly, Marshal. He is one of the most dancehall core Ugandan musicians of the 21st century and enjoys strong popularity in many countries throughout Africa.due to his Maama Africa song that cut across Africa in the early 2000 Robert marshal sings in Luganda, English and Swahili. Several of his songs have yielded popular catchphrases, including Maama Africa ,produced by ogopa djs, ntalabuusi,pembe,ohwoman, dandigidi, mimi rasta
Musical career
Marshal began his career in the early 2000s as a DJ at the nkumba ,Entebbe while studying at Greenville famous for many current musicians he later joined nkumba university,. He was signed to leone island arecord label of famous Uganda musician jose chameleone ,appeared in nekolera maali video as abackup artiste he later recorded bogera bigambo wic was famous on cbs radio then fly to Kenyan record label ogopa djs to record mama Africa He enjoyed strong success on eastafrica tv
He later flew to Holland where he has been based to late realeasing new projects
Marshal has two albums so far maama Africa,released in 2004, ntalabuusi ,2013 and oh woman 2015
He bounced back after abreak with new dancehall music namely, ntalabuusi,pembe,oh woman commonly known as “owooma”,mwagale, he went on to collaborate with ugandas dancehall musician sizzaman on adancehall tune gal yuh shine , my attention with henry tigan areagge Ugandan musician, my paradise with all stars,radio, weasel ,aziz azion, bafana,sizzman and many more
Family and personal life
Marshal has awhite daughter from his dutch galfriend and his family leave in Holland.
