Seeta Archdeaconry choir is a church based choir of the Anglican Church of Uganda found in Mukono Diocese , Seeta Archdeaconry.
It was formed under a collective effort by all Parishes that comprise of Seeta Archdeaconry to uplift music in the Archdeaconry in the year of 2017 under the Archdeacon Canon Kitto Kagodo and Chairmanship of Mr Simon Peter Ssenfuka and Choir Master Mr Benon Bukenya, located at St Luke's Church Seeta Mukono. With Parishes including Seeta Parish, Nasuuti, Misindye Parish, Nsambwe Parish, Jinja Misindye Parish, Gulama Parish, Kiwanga Parish and Namakwa Parish. Of Late Nasuuti was given Archdeaconry status hence breaking off with Namakwa.
The choir has represented Mukono Diocese in all Major Festivals including the Inter Buganda Festival since 2017. And has represented twice at the Matyrs day National celebrations at Namugongo in 2019 and 2021.
The choir comprises of over 200 registered members both adults and Children within the Archdeaconry as of now.
The Namugongo album is the first recorded music by the choir since it's establishment released in June 2021.. having 4 songs. Namugongo, Okutya Mukama, Tulina abajulirwa and Katonda Mwoyo.
Current Archdeacon is Canon David Mpagi,. Chairperson Mr Ssenfuka Simon Peter. Choir Master. Mr Senteza Jonathan.
