Kirungi Tusabe Godwin a.k.a SHINE STAR, was born in between 1995-1999/05/03.is a resident of Karuswiiga Muhorro but staying in Kagadi town.
A son of Omuhereza Asiimwe (mother)a resident of Karuswiiga Muhorro and late Kamanyire(father) from BANAGE Family KYOMUNEMBE.
He is a Munyoro-mutooro, Mukwonga by clan.
He is a Ugandan by birth,
SHINE STAR has a number of songs in different styles such as; Ragga, Zouk,Afrobeat,Rnb,Band, Dancehall etc. He sings in Swahili, Runyoro, English etc.
He started music since he was born, because he participated in Choirs both in school and faith of unity, he later joined brass band at 'Kapyeemi headquarters'
He completed his primary from Muhoro Muslim p.s
He studied in a number of secondary schools because he could be bought every year since he was also so talented in football and he couldn't manage to pay school fees because his Mother was not good by finance.
But He finally completed his A'LEVEL at Kagadi s.s. however, it was just a tag of war.
Before, he composed and produced his first song "SENTE KISUMURUZO" With Babido pro at Sky records which was Avery good studio by then.By the way, he was in p.5 and it was 2009.
His song SENTE KISUMURUZO Was loved so much because people could be surprised whenever they listened to it, because the song was comprised of educative ideas and information of which could not Tally with his age "10 yrs"
He later produced another song "NENYUMA" With Easy guys studio Kagadi, that's when he started getting more friends like BOBCAN, MR. ROCK, JULIE PRO, BOBLEE e.tc and he then started staying in Kagadi town in 2013.
Good studios later came such as; One love headed by Diof kisonsogoro where he produced a song "AKUKUGONZA" Later on, Clean sound studio came between 2016-2017, he then started producing with Rick pro songs like: Ninye, Tiharoho kasozi, Bingambe, Okanteera, Oija kunyisa,
Between 2018-2019, he convinced Figo west and produced a love song 'Magical' he later on produced another challenging track "AKELLO" which scattered his name to some good districts in Uganda.
This Akello song was accompanied by other song like Tuli draw, If you love me, duniya kusasaanya etc.
Later on, Rick pro leaved clean sound and then many questions came across, He then started fogging production until he did a very good instrumental, He freestyled the instrumental and another thunder track came out "BALI CEYI" At first, This song was not political but due to what happened by then after 2021 politics, the guy was forced to turn it political. He was forced to make a video at speed because the song was at a very high demand, it was played on various radio stations county wide. From then he became so popular and he started earning some good money in music. Anumbrr of songs were produced after BALI CEYI such as: Byakupatiika, Cwaamu yoramira, You hurt me, Too late etc. By the way, politicians liked this guy so much however, other hated him thinking he could be against them. And he produced many songs for politicians in the Country.
In 2024, he produced another political song "BYE HONOURABLE" which became an anthem in the Country, some people judges him a political artist because of his songs..........
