Takabasa Timothy A. K. A TAKS DA MANI was born on 6th July 1995 in Tororo District. He is the first born among three children.  He started his music in 2009 while in seeta high school where he was a member of a student band called OLL WEST. 

The band didn't not survive for long but Taks kept the fire burning.  The run is his first single recorded by producer Gamit from titanium records.
