Thee optimist is a female Ugandan artist whose real name is Mpakibi Pavin winnie born in 1998 on the 26th of September. She is a proud Musoga,daughter to the late,mr.Gonza Armstrong and Mrs Gonza Esther Nattembo(alive).She grew up in kisaasi with both her parents and brother. She went to Makerere university nursery school,kitante primary school,Lubiri high school(O’level),Mengo senior school and st.Noah girls’ secondary school,zzana(A’level)
In 2018,she joined Makerere University Business school (MUBS) where she still is,pursuing a bachelors degree in a Leisure and hospitality management. She is a music enthusiast and started singing way back in primary school,she was always among the best solists.
Her first single “OMUKWANO” was written by Michael Victor,produced and mastered by producer Ricko of
Pandarickodz.
