TiMRON aka Tim Lutwama is a Ugandan born and raised dancehall, raga and afrobeat artist that discovered his talent in music in his first year at Makerere University where he was pursuing a bachelors of Arts in Economics. While at university, he met a friend called Bobby Frank who was then signed under Sulubada High School of Miki Wine a young brother to Bobi Wine. With Bobby, TiMRON recorded his first ever song called “Riddim” a collabo that didn’t go any far due to the little knowledge they had about the music industry.
In 2012, TiMRON met Oscar Ntege, a renown professional photographer that was passionate about music. Oscar inspired TiMRON to join the music industry and look at the vast opportunities entailed in it. He (Oscar) introduced TiMRON to producer Kayz a renown producer who was by then working at his Soul Touch Records. Kays redid TiMRON’s song RIDDIM giving it a new and more appealing touch. This got a chance to make it to the airwaves and was the beginning of TiMRON’s career. Oscar Ntege went ahead to help Timron by shooting and directing the video of his song RIDDIM.
In 2013, TiMRON under Blaze entertainment of a USA based Ugandan Dj called Tonny Blaze was introduced to renown producer Nash Wonders who by then was working at Monster studios. Here, TiMRON recorded his second professional song called “Roll it”. This got less airplay as Tonny had less time to run the label thus concentrating on his career in the states.
At the turn of 2013, he joined Tazan Music Empire. Here, TiMRON shared moments with artists like Naj Shillat, Shirat, popular song writer Dokta Brain and many more. It was at this time that he recorded his third audio song called “Teguba Musango” written by Dokta Brain and produced at Avie records by Dr. Fizol.
In 2014, TiMRON left Tazan Music Empire and concentrated on a solo career. He recorded his fourth audio at Avie records called “Level” produced by Jose Pro. This got reception on the airwaves and it’s in this year that TiMRON shot his second video for this particular song directed by Makaka of Game Concepts.
In 2015, TiMRON recorded his fifth audio song called “Ebintu” a club dancehall song again produced by Jose Pro at Avie records.
In 2016, TiMRON recorded his sixth audio song called “Come Again” produced by Danz Kumapeesa at J-Power records. A song that has gotten massive reception in clubs and radio airwaves in Uganda. In the same year, TiMRON recorded “Tokiwulira Muli”, collaboration with a talented rising vocalist known as John Wule. This was his seventh audio produced by Jose Pro at J-Power records.
TiMRON has performed at big stages and events throughout the years.
