Tonyk real names kawooya Tonny was born on the 27/9/1992 in a family of  two girls and two boys and two girls among whom he is the second borne.he got saved at an early age of 6years and and therefore,he grew up as a minister in church.his passion for music developed as he continued serving in church as a worship leader.

He later decided to go into professional singing in 2013 when he recorded his first song entitled ojjakuba bulungi literally 'You will be ok',a song he did to encourage those in suffering to endure and terust God in all they do.he has several others songs such as everyday,TOPOWA KIROOTO among others.he does genres like ragga,reggae,dancehall and rnb.His songs are so inspiring that you can't listen to them and remain the same
