Mutesasira Araphat aka Araphat Seventeen is a muslim and grew up in masaka the heart of buganda region.

He developed the passion of music right in his early primary and he was popular in school choirs in all schools he attended. He began composing his first song in primary five. He recorded his first rnb song titled "tell me" in 2011 while in senior three. He began as an rnb artist with inspiration from maurice kirya. Later in 013 he picked up the interest in rapping because of his talent of being a writer and a well groomed poet with an inspiration from G.N.L Zamba and the legendary babaluku.

He began his career in hiphop while in s.6 at archbishop kiwanuka ss. Kitovu after being greatly inspired by the luga flow army the leading hiphop squard in uganda. He loves bana mutibwa and st. Nellysade so much and he claims that he wants to drop on the same beat with them before he retires. He is currently pursuing his bachelor of education in literature at kampala university.

He is an a poet and an author of many literally works. he puts all his trust in God and his single mother who brought her up through great struggle. He is working on his first hiphop album with KIR RECORDS and he has big dreams for hiphop and his writing career.
