Born 23years back on 3rd June. Was named Kabajulizi Caroline after the Uganda martyrs. I'm born in Kyenjojo District in Tooro kingdom. I went to Kicuucu P/S, Ave Maria secondary School in Kyenjojo & St. John School of Nursing in Ntungamo.
I joined the music industry in 2015, with two singles (Nkugambe, Otanswaza) and collaboration (Oije or are) with Holy boy.
At first I was using Carolslender as my stage name which has remained the popular name in my home town. I was later advised by the well-wishers to change it as one time I would grow to no longer be slender there after the name Carol Kay came up.
I was inspired by Juliana Kanyomozi back in 2004 then kept on miming her songs and by God's grace I no longer miming Juliana's but perform Carol Kay's. I chose to sing in my local language (Rutooro) after realizing I know it better and I can do it better and also to convince whoever used to think that Rutooro can't make good music.
Apart from the music career I'm also an Enrolled nurse by profession. She is now signed under Deconcept Music, she joins another big artist in the western Uganda, Ray G Rhighans under the same music label
