Ugandans are to remain under lockdown for an extra 14 days and must wear a mask when leaving home to go anywhere to avoid catching CorovaVirus/COVID19.
Ugandans have so far spent at least 43 days under lockdown. With 14 more days, Ugandans will spend 57 days in total under lockdown, with no guarantee that it will be lifted after these two weeks.
The measures were announced by President Yoweri Museveni while addressing the nation tonight.
The president also announced that schools, Churches, bars among others may not open. Public and private transport also remain suspended.
The president however opened Wholesale shops, Ware houses, restaurants to only do take away and allowed the Uganda Law society to allow at least 30 lawyers at ago for emergencies like arraignments.
