TV Veteran Bbale Francis has passed on after battling with Cancer for a while.
A UBC employee confirmed the sad news earlier today in a tweet:

Bbale Francis was one of the iconic faces that graced the evening news at UBC for over three decades and was also among the most loved hosts because of his eloquence and sense of humor.
