National Resistance Movement (NRM) party treasurer and woman representative for Nakaseke District, Ms Rose Namayanja has been admitted in hospital after she was on Tuesday involved in a motor accident along Kigogwa-Bombo road.
When contacted, government spokesperson, Mr Ofowno Opondo confirmed the news, adding that Ms Namayanja was on her way to Luweero for burial when the accident happened.
"She is now at Nakasero hospital. We are still waiting for more details and will let you know, what we know now is that she went in alive and she will definitely pull through it," Mr Opondo said.
She is right now admitted at Nakasero hospital.
