Legendary singer Awilo Longomba entertained music fans at Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday night but before his impressive performance, Ugandan musicians like Levixone, Eddy Kenzo, Jose Chameleone among others curtain raised except the self proclaimed, “King herself”.
Cindy, who was supposed to perform before Awilo Longomba’s performance arrived minutes after the agreed time. She was denied access to the stage.
Cindy was seen pleading with event organisers backstage only to be given a deaf ear before leaving the venue together with her dancers in total disappointment.
According to a close source to Cindy, they claim the “onina” singer had another gig out of town and therefore, the trip to Serena took longer than anticipated.
It should be noted that Cindy is one of the most humble musicians in Uganda. She has no known record of late coming.
